Hayati Fashion Week Takes Abuja By Storm

Hayati Fashion Week debuted on July 20th, 2017, in Abuja. The event was created by Ms. Fatima Togbe, whose name might probably sound familiar to you. Ms. Togbe is a model, entrepreneur, brand ambassador for VLISCO and Maggi, and the editor in chief of Hayati Magazine.

The master of all trades wanted to bring together Nigerian brands to showcase their products— fashionable modest wear. It is no surprise that the event was a success- more than half the population of the capital city is female and searching for killer modest wear that won’t break the bank. Well, Hayati Fashion Week was indeed here to serve.

The 3-day event, which took place in Dunes Center and A- Class Park, both in Maitama, drew in creatives and fashionistas who wanted to feast their eyes on what was in and what was modest, and, girl, did they feast and shop. Amongst the designers were the Cicada, Falke by Aisha, and Moon by Me. Designers flew in from Lagos, Kano, and everywhere else to participate in the unique runway experience.
